I have been photographing families and high school seniors in the Central New York area (and beyond!) for well over a decade now. In that time, I have become known for my personal touch when working with seniors and families.
For my seniors, it's simple - my style is capturing your style. It's creating an experience with you that's uniquely yours. What makes you the person you are? What do you love? Why do you do what you do? How do you express it? I love seeing you in your element - whether it's playing lacrosse, riding your horse, practicing ballet, singing, playing an instrument, painting, enjoying the outdoors, or simply listening to music in your room. If you have a special talent or pastime that you enjoy sharing with the world, please let me know and I will work with you to create a session around it. Often times these special sessions produce beautiful photographs that inspire and impress.
When I'm working with families, I love to find those tiny moments, those little connections, that make your family wonderfully unique. The kids holding hands or being goofballs. Dad holding tight to his little girl. The look in Mom's eyes that shows how proud she is of the little boy who is now nearly as tall as she is. These are the moments that we all cherish, moments that are fleeting and gone too soon. My purpose as a family photographer is to capture these little flashes of time so that you can hold on to them forever.
For family sessions please note that, in general, I work with families with children of preschool age and older. If you are looking for portraits for newborns, infants, or young toddlers, please contact me and I will put you in touch with a local photographer who creates the most beautiful portraits for that age group in her home studio.
