This is your senior year, which is a very special time in your life. And while you could probably get a friend or family member to take some photos of you, they simply won’t be able to produce what a professional photographer can.
When you work with a professional photographer, you get to benefit from their years of experience, which includes knowing how to work with light, where to find the best locations for your shoot, and how to compose a great shot. Not to mention the fact that they’re skilled editors and know exactly how to make you look incredible in every photo.
A professional will also know how to bring your unique style and personality through in each and every image and will be there to guide you on how to pose and smile in order to get the best photos.
A professional photographer is the best person to guide you during the photo selection process, too, by helping you choose the best shots for printing and for your album. Since most photographers have been shooting and printing images for years, they know exactly which paper, canvas sizes, and printers to use to get the job done right, giving you beautiful photos that you can display in your home, in an album, or on social media.
You only get to be a senior once, so don’t miss out on the chance to caputure some great photos of yourself by settling for a friend or family member instead of working with a professional photographer for your senior shoot.
I schedule a limited number of portrait sessions each year, so that each of my clients can have a personalized and memorable experience. A non-refundable retainer of $150 is due upon booking your session, and includes up to two hours of artistic photography at the location of your choosing, with unlimited wardrobe changes. This retainer secures your date on my calendar and protects you from any price increases between the time of booking and the time you place your order. It also covers my time spent preparing for your session, the session itself, and the editing of the images in your gallery. I offer several specially curated portrait collections, as well as à la carte prints, albums, digital files, and other items. Print prices start at $20, digital collections start at $500, and album collections start at $750. For more detailed collection pricing, please see the Investment page.
As a print photographer and member of the Professional Photographers of America's "Print - the Movement" campaign, I encourage all of my clients to create lasting memories with beautiful printed products. All of my prints, albums, and other items are made with archival materials and are designed to last a lifetime.
I'll meet with you, either in person or on the phone, and we'll discuss your expectations and decide on a location.
I'll be in touch with you frequently as we get closer to your session date. If there are any changes or if you have any questions, just let me know!
The big day! We'll have up to two hours of shooting time, and you'll get unlimited wardrobe changes.
I'll spend about 2-3 weeks editing and retouching your images. When I'm done, you'll have a minimum of 25 finished, beautiful images to choose from.
The Gallery Reveal
When your proof images are ready, I will send you a link to a private online gallery, which will be available for online ordering for two weeks. If you'd like, we can also schedule an in-home ordering session. I will bring along a full set of printed proofs, and an array of sample items to look at.
Your order will be hand delivered or shipped directly to your home, ready to be displayed and to show to friends and family!
